The book is a quick read and full of quotable text!

This is a fascinating and well-written account of the author's first-hand views of some of the most innovative law firms, legal-services providers, and law departments in the world. Particularly interesting is the contrast between the fastly superior ability to innovate and attract capital for expansion among UK and Australian firms, compared to their US counterparts, which still suffer from increasingly antiquated restrictions on ownership and capital sources. UK and Australian firms are making the most of these opportunities.Kowalski circled the globe for over a year meeting with these innovators, and includes a number of thoughts and suggestions for firms trying to grow, provide creative solutions for clients, and attract and retain younger lawyers who demand cutting edge business strategies, use of technology, and attention to social impact.I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the future of the practice of law.
