First of all I must say that I've been a fan of JD's work for a while now. The way he teaches while inspiring at the same time is truly uncanny.Another major point I want to make - this particular author provides far more info and varieties of weaves and projects in his books than anyone else out there. Other books show you the Solomon weave done ten different times but with different blandly colored cord, or cord endings, then maybe they put in two other weaves and replicate those in different colors to fill out the book as if they've presented the reader with ANY inspiring ideas.- This is for the serious paracordist-This book is the second volume of THE quintessential guide for the paracordist who never wants to stop learning. This book is full of projects that will keep even the most veteran paracordist busy for weeks. Every single tie or weave has been separated into chapters with certain minute or even drastic variations included.Like volume one, number two does it justice and then some. As in the first book, The colors used for each tie seem to have been carefully selected to really make the weave one that will stand out to the reader. The author has expanded his scope, so to speak, and includes several sections on more practical uses for Paracord tying - like making a pouch, belt holster, machete grip, and a sling, just to name a few. Some others are snow goggles, and beach sandals - if you can believe that!I was pleased beyond belief to have gotten the book yesterday (2 weeks before the scheduled release), mainly because like his other books, they inspire the reader to take his lessons, and run with them to wherever their own creativity and imagination can take them!I owe probably 90% of my knowledge of Paracord fusion ties directly to the author of this book - J.D. LENZENI would like to personally thank him for releasing another wonderfully crafted book, that (somehow) has topped the first, and also for his YouTube channel TIAT.If you're unsure of which book to get on what can be done with Paracord, then look no further - BUY THIS BOOK.I also strongly suggest Volume 1 if you don't already have it. Volume 1 works better for beginner, and intermediate paracordists, as it begins with some of the more simple and basic Paracord ties, knots, and designs at the start of the book, then chapter by chapter, the weaves get progressively more complex. Each one has its own challenges, just as with this book.- ON AN UPDATED NOTE, I'VE ALREADY DONE SEVERAL TIES IN THIS BOOK IN THE 24 HOURS SINCE I GOT IT, AND THEY LOOK SIMPLY AMAZING, ESPECIALLY IF YOU CHANGE UP THE COLORS. I WILL UPDATE WITH PHOTOS TO GIVE VIEWERS A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT I MEAN-Excellent job again J.D., Tony H.

I've made many wonderful bracelets and key chains with the help of this book. I also have V 1 on my Kindle. Please don't drive into the chapters until you've got an understanding of what the terms mean and how to execute them. Once you got the hang of what the terms mean, then doing the ties will be a piece of cake.

This book is the follow up to Paracord Fusion Ties, also by J.D.Lenzen. I make paracord bracelets, key fobs, etc., so this is a go to book for many ideas. I refer to it quite oftem when making items.I purchased this on my Kindle, After I purchased the first book on my Kindle, I said I would buy the second as a real book. Sometimes, navigating the Kindle while trying to tie a knot is a little tough. Also, you have to go to the index to find knots. There is no pictoral guide to find what you are looking for. Those were my only problems with a book like this. My OCD demanded that I buy this as a Kindle, though, so both books would match. :) The Kindle does have a few benefits, though. I can screen save a couple of pictures and put them together to help me visualize the knot and I can always have the book with me, so I can tie knots wherever I go.Highly recommended book for anyone who makes things with paracord, jute, twine, or rope/cord of any sort.A recommendation for updates and further volumes in this series. Have a pictoral index of knots at the end of the book with links to the pages. This can save a lot of time when trying to find the exact know youwant. Other than that, these books are perfect.

It seems okay; nice pictures, clear instructions, partial list of terms. Would be better with a fuller glossary of terms, just assume not all readers will be fully schooled on the terms used in the knotting world. Plus the definition on what paracord is isn't right, or is a cheaper civilian almost equivalent to the military standard.Specifically any/all paracord claiming to be type I, II, III, or IV has to use 3-ply yarns not the cheaper civilian versions that usually stick to 2-ply yarns. Higher quality civilian paracord will also use 3-ply yarns for their cores.Type I: single 3-ply yarn for its core; 95 lbsType IA: has no core yarn; 100 lbsType II: four 3-ply yarns in core; 400 lbsType IIA: has no core yarns; 225 lbsType III: seven 3-ply yarns in core; 550 lbsType IV: eleven 3-ply yarns in core; 750 lbsEverything following the military spec will also be nylon only, while the civilian versions will also substitute polyester instead, as well as drop to the cheaper 2-ply yarns. And oddly, mostly he uses the near impossible to find type II 400 paracord which he calls 450 paracord, though you'll more likely find 425 paracord if you can even come across any..

This is a pretty nice book. I have tied the rock sling after 2 failed attempts. Some of the phrasology is a bit difficult to follow for a beginner like myself. There is a glossary of terms but it is far from complete. Also im not a fan of the knot and loop closures so it takes some work to figure out how to adapt the bracelets to buckle use. The section on pouches is amazing. They are not easy but the usefulness of them is amazing. Pictures are clear but at times its hard to tell which line is static and which line is the running or working line. Once i figured out which was which i labeled them on the pictures just for future reference. The book is a good complement to the youtube site, and using both really works well especially when i get stuck on a particular step.
